Procedure of opening Demat account

In a demat account, the investor does not take a physical position of certificates of shares and securities. All shares and securities are held electronically. The account is usually opened by an investor when registering with an investment broker. The account number is coded for all the transactions. This makes it possible for electronic settlements of trade to take place. As an investor or shareholder, you must have a demat account for trading shares.
You must have a transaction password and an Internet password to access the demat account. No one can make a transfer or purchases of securities if they do not have these security passwords.

Opening Your Account:

Opening a demat account is quite easy, as there are only few steps involved. You can open a demat account with any company through online. After opening the account, you will be able to take part in the shares market, where you can invest and trade shares.

Choose a suitable broker:

The process and the required documents differ from one broker to another. Therefore, choose and approach a share broker whose process is easy for you to handle. Make sure you have all the legal documents needed before you proceed to the next step.

Filling the form:

You will be required to fill a form for opening the demat account. Make sure you fill in the details correctly and then recheck that you have filled in the correct details in the form. A proof of your identity is required. Therefore, provide residential and identify proof on the form. You will have a PAN card at the time. Keep this safely as it will be required for verification.

After the verification process, you will be given a demat account number, which you will use for all your future transactions. You will also be given a transaction and internet password for accessing your demat account and initiating transactions.

Angel Broking Limited Employee Review

I joined Angel Broking as an investment consultant around six years back. In these six years I have had some really great experience at the company, both as an employee and a service provider. I will like to share those experiences with readers.

Let me begin with the experiences I had as an employee of this firm. Those who are associated with the world of investment and trading know that Angel Broking began its journey as a brokerage firm in 1987; one of our neighbours used to work at the company since the early days. When I was having troubles with my previous employer who was not offering me what I deserved, neither in terms of job profile nor in terms of salary, my neighbour told me to apply for a vacant position at Angel Broking. Luckily I got the job after four rigorous rounds of interview.

I was made to undergo a two-week training program. During the training program, I not only learnt about my duties at the company and the working procedure, but also came to know about the company’s philosophy. In the past six years, I have got everything I deserved from Angel, let it be promotions, increments or perk and rewards for special performances delivered by me. In short, Angel has made my life stress-free as I know that if I put in my best efforts, my employer will always be there to help me have a great career.

Although the basic services provided by Angel Broking and my previous employer are same, the way Angel operates is completely different. Angel’s approach is more customer-centric. This is because Angel believes that if it takes care of customers’ interests, it will automatically grow as a company; and that’s what has happened in the past 17 years.
